Radiology

It is said that good diagnosis it is half of treatment success. And really - well diagnosed treatment provides loads of information and allows to choose the best method of treatment.  It refers not only to patients with teeth missing.

Until recently the basic radiological examination was pantomogram x-rays.

It is an unprecise examination, though, and on its basis you cannot fully evaluate sick changes.  Pantomogram provies flat view with enlargement as big as 60% even.

Currently the most precise radiological diagnosis method is cone beam tomography (CBT).  When taking this examination amount of radiation is comparable to one which a patient receives during conventional pantomogram x-rays, but provides much bigger possibilities to evaluate conditon of teeth and jaws.  Taking a 3D examination in 1:1 with 0,20 mm precision enables full evaluation of a given area.

The patient undergoing CBT receives the result recorded on a CD.  The CD includes also proper software and every doctor can open the result and analyse the area.  Also a detailed description goes with each examination.

W dniach 20.02–30.04.2011 zapraszamy wszystkich, którzy ukończyli 60 rok życia i mają problemy z prawidłowym utrzymaniem protezy w dolnej szczęce.
