Prosthetics

1.  Are you dissatisfied with colour and shape of your teeth?

If you have problems with aesthetics of your teeth, if you are willing to change their shape or colour, visit our Center.  We offer crowns and bridges made in the recent metal free technology based on zirconium oxide and aluminum oxide (Cyrconia crown and bridge, Procera).  Thanks to these techniques our crowns do not differ from own, nice teeth.

2. Have you broken your tooth?

If the missing part is not large, usually new generation porcelain filling may be applied (inlay, onlay).  They are long lasting, cosmetic and they restore tooth tissues not destroying the peridontium. If the crack caused larger amount to be lost - it is necessary to make a crown and cement it on the crown post.  On this post a crown is mounted.

In case of a larger tooth loss one of the most modern solutions can be applied - endocrowns.  These are full ceramic crowns with porcelain post.  Mounting is done with the use of special techniques of gluing (adhesion techniques) and they provide the highest aesthetics.

3.  Do you miss one or more teeth?

The problem can be solved in two ways.  The first is implant insertion in place left after the missing tooth.  The second one is filling the gap attaching the new tooth to neighboring teeth.  It requires grinding of two adjacent teeth and placing crown onto tchem. The missing tooth will be mounted on them.  The tooth is permanently cemented and cannot be taken away any time you wish.  It takes as much place as patient's own teeth.  The downside here is however that healthy teeth need to be grinded.  Porcelain crowns may be made on the basis of steel, gold, titanium, zirconium oxide or aluminum oxide.  In the last two cases aesthetics is higher.

4.  Do you have many teeth missing?

The only possibility of performing permanent teeth restorations (without the possibility of removing them) are implants.  The second possibility of restoration are detachable prosthetic restorations.  If a patient has a few own teeth - it is possible to restore the rest on the basis of skeletal denture.  Such a denture is fixed on special brackets, latches or telescopic crowns.  Its construction is metal and physiologically bears chewing forces, does not possess brackets on teeth which allows to gain high aesthesitity, good stabilization and comfort of use.

5.  Don't have teeth at all?

The most common restoration are movable full dentures.  In the early stage of endentolous jaws the bones still are shaped and so the denture may stick to alveolar process and is stable.  With time, however, atrophy of bone tissue takes place, denture sticking is lower and becomes unstable causing problems when used.  The only solution then is implantation.  Nowadays thanks to new All-on-4 method it is possible to prepare fixed restoration based on 4 implants during 1 day only.
